Croder Case

The US Supreme Court did the perfect thing by refusing to hear "Corder v. Lewis-Palmer School District No. 38", this case was brought by another fundie who was upset they couldn't proselytize to everyone in attendance during a graduation ceremony.

The fundies need to learn you can't keep pushing your religion on everyone and the rest of the world doesn't have to listen, nor are they entitled by any ridiculous notion they hold that they can get away with it.

This decision by SCOTUS was one of the best of this year and hopefully not the last dealt to the stupid fundies and perhaps this will just be the first of many to finally shut them up.

Pledge of Allegiance or Pledge of Obedience???

During the "red scare" in the 1950's a senator named Joseph McCarthy had whipped up a panic and eventually convinced Congress to modify several things:

1. The Motto on our money - Changed to "In God We Trust";
(Congressional action in 1955 which placed "In God We Trust" on all U.S. coins and currency)

2. , 1956 law making the phrase "In God We Trust" the U.S. motto.

3. The words "under God" were added to the Pledge of Allegiance were added in 1954 by Congressional Mandate;

The fundamentalists and evangelicals want people to believe that these terms have always been in place but they refuse to admit this and inform and to make sure that their membership fully understand this and are able to state these facts which they work to cover up.

Revisionists among the fundies work very hard to convince people, especially their programmed masses to spread these falsehoods and to argue with/prevent discussion about this when anyone brings up the subject and tries to correctly present the truth to others among their flocks.

In order for the fascists to make people follow their ideology which was a blod based religion infused into a political agenda and thereby after destroying ( book burning) any source material to the contrary managed to convince the population to fall in line with the fascist party line.
During the process of accomplishing this conversion to the blood based theocracy of fascism there was quite a bit of obstruction and attacks directed to others who were accused of doing what the nazis were actually doing and this was done to cause the populace to believe it was the attacked victims and not the nazis committing the damages.

Today in America we are seeing the very same thing is happening with the fundies and evangelistas spreading revisionist propaganda and preventing logical fact based discussions to alert people to this takeover. The problem didn't stop with king George leaving the Whitehouse, it only made those left in Congress, in State Legislatures and local governments more determined to resist and fight to keep their gained ground and to stop at any cost, anyone or group from exposing them and/or putting a stop to this ideology by simply pointing it out to people and asking them to think.

The problem is with the mind controlled/brainwashed masses unable to break the dominion and control of the pulpit puppets and the leaders dictating to them to continue with the agenda and eventual takeover the victims are still left unable to clearly think and recognize what has been done to them.

Hopefully the current movement of some religious leaders will have an effect to provide a real honest place for recovering victims to go to in order to fully shake off the programming suffered by the robotic minions that still exist. Everyone must do their part and assist those still enslaved to the fascist fundies and evangelicalistas and only by the complete and utter exposure of their agenda and the full ability to think, discern and recognize that America's secular heritage with the full support of the populace will the cause be won.

Remember watch the News and Media Reports and pay careful attention at the growing number of fundies committing crimes, especially those who parrot things like "voices they hear in the heads", " Jesus directs them", "The lord called them to do it", or something akin to apocalyptic thoughts and the "end times", The Second Coming", etc., since these are a clear give away of the programmed puppets who are not able to think independently and will take violent action to stop anyone from keeping them from the full return to fascism under the guise of religion.

So the next time you are called to recite the Pledge of Allegiance make sure it is actually that and not the Pledge of Obedience which is the one that includes the words "under God" and not the one that goes from indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

To continue with the 1954 included phrases is in direct violation of the Establishment Clause of the Constitution and any true America who supports the Constitution must take the necessary legal steps of educating people and convincing Congress to fix what was done during another period of fear and stupid legislation based upon a fear which is the wrong postion to legislate from.

An Update

During this month (August) I am going to be quite busy and not have the usual time I devote to managing this blog. I will basically get to it when time permits but will continue to post responses that address the topics here and not post those comments that simply make vulgar and profane accusations and have nothing to add to the discussions.

For example I just posted a comment relating to Sarah Palin from an unknown person who did give little but relevant responses to the topic. This poster offered that 60% felt a certain way. The poster will of course need to back that up with solid secular data to continue but I am willing to give them a chance to comment since they did follow the rules at least in part.

Now the responses that don't get published are simply nasty little threats and name calling for which I give little notice of except to mention as example of what not to do if anyone expects to see their post published here.

So responses to topics with solid information in support add to the discussion while nasty vulgar don't and won't be appearing.

Striking a Nerve

From the recent amount of responses to my blog mostly from those who seem to have very limited vocabularies and to draw mainly from vulgar expressions will not result in publishing of said offerings.

Those who have actually put forth comments that refrain from using gutter speech AND address the issue of the particular post will find their responses being published. As time permits, I am responding as well in an effort for the discussion to grow and perhaps over the course of the post's life we will all come away with a better understanding of the subject.

I do find that some responses are simply just derogatory in nature which is so typical to anyone like me who bothers to put out any material which exposes the fundamentalist and evangelical ideology and detail out their agenda. The problem for those folks is that they are indeed upset that they can't force their ideology upon thinking people and that they become so angry at the fact that after years of discussing and posting on these subject that they, the fundie community have such objection to anyone taking the time to even write about them in the first place. let alone speak truthfully about them. Their major objections are being made to realize and recognize their faults!

So remember if you choose to comment avoid the vulgar expressions and keep to the topic or you will find your comments are not going to appear. Address the issues and not engage in simply attacking the author of this blog since that doesn't serve to accomplish anything to further your position and will only result in a waste of time.

Denying the holy spirit

Many people are completely unaware that one simple phrase will render a fundamentalist or evangelical christian completely and absolutely unable to regain their status as such.

The mere thinking of the phrase:

I deny the holy spirit

This removes any hope of recovery, renders them instantly and permanently unchristian.

This is silly but a fact, they believe it, and once they have said it or even better read it and then made out what the words mean results in the immediate and permanent change of status.

It is completely and utterly irrevocable and they can't change nor do anything to undo what they have done.

Their thinking is beyond silly to think they actually have such a stupid ideology that would cause this and the fact that according to their beliefs have no way around it.

I deny the Holy Spirit is such a simple little phrase and oh so effective maybe now enough of them can finally be cured of their mental conditioning and brainwashed participation in such a bigoted and fascist religion.

Republican Fiscal Logic or How to Explain Gobblygook Economics

while watching Hannity on Fox News Network featuring an interview with Karl Rove on "his" version of economics.

Rove did his level best to twist, distort and to use as much double talk as I have heard in quite some time to finally explain the Stimulus Package that started when king Georgie Bush was in throned.

Lets give this explanation it's proper name Gobbly-gook Economics that is the advanced form of Trickle- down Economics that started with the Reagan years of control.

Having survived Reagan prior to his takeover of the Country and then having to endure the almost intolerable period until he was out of office was purely an exercise of extreme will.

Back to the 7.7% of the total 787 billion almost 1 trillion why isn't this working right now since it should be and ( Karl is hoping no one remembers this is a Bush creation) afterall the Republicans have prevented several of the major recipients from taking the money timely and then putting them into use immediately .... have I lost you yet???

So since the money is allocated but not disbursed and that it has to go according to the Republican changes that prevent it from being paid out for some time yet thus preventing any of it from actually being used for it's intended purposes so that the Republicans can continue to complain and say no but do absolutely nothing yet continue to complain.... Have I lost you yet?

Now back to Hannity interjecting to make sense of the senseless and then toss out Obama's plan?? (This is just name dropping and meant to incite fundies so they will act in goosestep lines and follow der leader Hannity) And he knows it was Bush's plan from last year and only revised slightly AFTER the election since Bush bailed on us and was basically a lame duck as his termed out and his reign was over.

The amount of damages he caused came to be known only after he left office and that the effects of his damages will continue to surface for some years to come.

Here is what needs to happen to fix the problem quickly:

1. Pay out the money faster;
2. Make the states take it and put into the local economy immediately;
3. Call the naysayers and hold a roundtable to make them back up their claims right now and then expose them when they fall flat;
4. Push the Bills like Health Reform, Economic Stimulus, Education Bills, etc NOW NOW NOW and stop trying kiss up to get the party of NO to make a move to support anything as they can't even agree who is in charge let alone agree among themselves but only come off looking like spoiled children who can't have their way.
5. Expose and investigate fully the Bush Administration and then Prosecute fully all involved Immediately. After conviction give them twice the "enhanced interrogation that any other prisoner received and let them rot the rest of their time away in windowless rooms.

By pushing for the investigation and bringing down all the clowns involved, as well as net up Canter, Ginrich, Cheney, Rove and the rest needing to focus onthe prosecutions and keep them off the news except to report how they are guilty and their attorneys will know they need to keep a low profile to survive a more serious conviction and sentencing.

Next get the real economists on the news channels since the Billo's, Hannitys and Beck will be expose and nailed for their biased broadcasting they can be also charged with criminal activity, trust me and this is another post, but they can be nailed if the Government really went after them.

Now that is a typical Fox explanation of economics and if you listen and can understand one while the other three are arguing amongst themselves you doing well.

There ya go a complete explanation ala Fox and the spin form the fair and balanced network.

One more thing, divest Murdock of his holding and split up the monoply so that the real fair and balanced news can be heard and get the biased fundies off the air so that reality and truth can finally be restored. Keep Keith and Rachel for at least trying to put out something closer to reality as opposed to Fixed News since Fixed News hasn't a clue to fair, let alone balanced unless you consider a scale lying sideways and one of the cups from the scale missing and the other so dented it holds virtually only the hot air from the commentators.

The Majority of Pedophiles and Drug Dealers are Christians!!

The vast majority of pedophiles and drug dealers are christian and were christian before, during and even make claims they are still AFTER convictions for the very same conduct.

Priests, pastors, regular citizens, day school teachers, public school teachers, the list goes on and on with the majority being christians!!!

I have personally spoken with many criminals while employed as a Peace Officer and inquired among other questions what their personal religious beliefs were and the majority admit and list their personal religious beliefs, affiliations as christian.

A few and that would be very very few said they weren't christian, but the overwhelming majority being christian. The very percentages claimed by christian organizations say that christians are in the majority of American population and thereby their claims can't not at once claim to be majority and then back off the claim when it proves that convicted criminals aren't indeed christians because it places them in a position to explain why the religious beliefs didn't cause the convicted criminals to avoid committing the illegal acts that resulted in incarcaration.

Check the statistics in your state and you will confirm the statistics prove christians make up the majority of felons across the country. Criminals try to get their sentences reduced by playing the conversion card and that falls flat.

It is both sad and ironic that the claims of fundies and evangelicals make claims that following their beleifs will make them good moral people and then fail to admit that it not only doesn't do any such thing but even elected officials don't follow their own beliefs.

The joke is on the fundies and evangelicals who have to prove this post incorrect and to do so by valid secular proof, not post on their biased webpages. They do quite a lot of preaching and none of it is effective. Let them walk the walk and not just talk the talk which is meaningless when Sanford and ensign, Palin and the rest of politicians serve as direct examples of the very standards which they rail about by others.

Is America a "christian nation"?

Concerning the separation of church and state in 1802, Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter replying to the Danbury Baptist. In the letter he stated

“Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.”

Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration of Independence, gave a clear concise response with regard to an inquiry as to America's status as a "christian nation" and made sure that it was understood it was not.

In the case from 1892, Holy Trinity Church v. The United States of America was a case about immigration, not religion. The facts dealt with an immigration issue and not a strictly religious one.

For proponents to make this into something it is not and then say it decided without any doubt that America is a "christian nation", only means that those who hold to this ridiculous assertion has again practiced a major fundie/evangelical tactic of taking something out of context and then spinning it into something completely different than it originally was intended to mean and extrapolate it into something else entirely.

Desperate fundies seeking to bolster there revisionist historical claims are nothing but a joke to everyone who actually has studied history and can comprehend it. To attempt to even massage or offer such a statement clearly illustrates the ignorance and stupidity of this sect of brainwashed imbiciles, who like lemmings will blindly accept anything from their pudits as long as it purports to furhter their forced takeover of America and to mak eeveryone follow the rest of the herd to their repeated ranting form a book that can't even reconcile it's own contradictions, let alone offer more than just suspect stories that aren't even supportable via it's followers.

Even the sects attorneys somehow fall victim to this habit of failing to recognize fact from fantasy although they suposededly spent years in school and trianign their minds to be capable of doing that.

The bottom line as always is when any fundie/evangelical speaks, writes, or even communicates, one must immediately question their veracity and make them produce their supporting evidence and especially the SECULAR evidence which undoubtly will instantly refute anything they have said that supports their content of some historical reference to "christian nation" hogwash.

Always make them put up and then show them so they can shut up. Only by a concert of effort will Ameirca be returned to it's original intenet and that is a complete separation of church and state and undo the damage already done to it's citizens.

States Rights and the Religious Connection

Suddenly we have a whole slew of evangelicals becoming Constitutional scholars, unfortunately they don't comprehend nor understand their interpretations and get it wrong.

The recent movement and call for States rights have folks like Texas Governor calling for treasonous action of Succession and the Civil War was fought and those Successionist States LOST. This is nothing more than another Fundamentalist/Evangelical movement to force religion under the guise of a political stance.

The reason the US is experiencing the economic collapse is due to the last 8 years under Bush and the fundie controlled Congress. The period saw deregulation and complete disregard for the rights of anyone who wasn't of the same religion as those in power. Now the remaining folks continue to prevent the changes necessary to fix what was done by the Evil Agent Evangelical Bush and his cronies.

Torturing people didn't get it done, nor will the continuing push for forced conversion by the remaining pulpit puppets in Washington. Those during the Bush era tried to force religion down Americans throats and the American population didn't swallow it, in fact they vomited it back on them and now the religious legislators stand covered in the vile bile they heaped out and now have to wear, exposed for their actions.

Face it separation of church and state is how this country became great and not by forced compliance with religious hate.

It is well past the time where Americans should have acted to remove these denizens of the fascist fundie groups and finally rid this country of them by vote. There needs to be a return to truth in broadcasting since that will compel the fundies to report the whole story and not get away with spinning it to their perverted ideology via Glen Beck, Bill OReilly and Sean Hanity on Fixed Fox News!

Until Americans take responsibility for making the religious right comply with telling the truth there won't be any and those on Capitol Hill will continue to thwart the efforts to return us to solvency.

Remember you can't expect mind controlled fundies to act responsibly since they only follow th e lemming approach of what the pulpit puppet in their local fascist gathering is telling them to do.

Another Fundie Breaks their Word

Carrie Prejean was recently dethroned form her Miss California title for breaching her contract and thereby was relieved of her title for doing so.

When Prejean entered the contest she agreed to abide by the terms of the contest knowing full well she would have to make appearances and to act in accordance with the terms that all the past holders of the title have done. In her case she simply used the title to further the agenda of the religious right and to ignore her duties and then soapboxed the agenda of the religious right while whining during her media interviews.

She was given a pass earlier when they should have kicked her to the curb, but instead gave her a chance to meet the terms of the agreement but instead she continued on her reincarnated Anita Bryant campaign to further the goals of the same said agenda.

She has nothing to complain about period. She has to understand that when you sign a contract, especially with her past experience you have to meet the conditions of said contract and that if you didn't intend to do so then you induced the other party fraudulently to honor their end of the contract.

The best way to handle the situation with Prejean is to stop giving her a venue in which she can continue to soapbox for the religious right and to incorrectly state that her discharge was anything but breach, but the media will continue to let this pulpit puppet to rant, whine and complain as long as viewers and listeners will give an ear and eye to the coverage. If you want to stop bigoted commentary then is would be simple enough to just forgo any additional time to her.

It is solely due to her continued complaints about her mistaken interpretations of Constitutional Rights and how glaringly wrong she is about them. One would think with all the people pushing the agenda could at least give her correct legal advice and that way she could at least make the appearance of being informed about reality and not remove any doubt by speaking.

As long as the media grants space the bigots will continue to rant, influence ignorant and uninformed people whose only source of law and civil rights come from their local clergy and the members of their churches. It is past time for allowing ignorance and stupidity to flourish among the people and to finally educate those who live in a fantasy world governed by the particular bible they are read to by their clergy and to have to actually recognize that reality is something that exists and that fantasy is simply that.

The American public simply must recognize that it is long past time to act to put an end to religious ideology being forced upon us and to help those poor deluded people to get the help to recover form the brainwashing that is taking place in those so called places of worship and for people who call themselves Christian to act and practice Christianity as a true Christian.
